New Vietnam War Photos

Today I added a whole bunch of Vietnam War photos. Couple of thousand of them are now availiable at the Vietnam War section.

Vietnam War is a significant historical conflict, which has played a major role in Cold War geopolitics. More importantly for regular folks like us is that this war is responsible for creating a whole “Vietnam War Culture” phenomenon – which included art, music and movies.

What is unique about this bunch is that all of them are related to one specific unit. I am talking about COMPANY A, 1ST BATTALION, 6TH INFANTRY or “The Gunfighters”. Veterans of this unit are saving as much history about their unit as possible.

The significance

These photos are all coming from the same unit and are bounded between 1967 and 1970. This gives a perfect opportunity for researchers and reenactors to study, in details, the uniforms and equipment of the Vietnam War. The varierty of photos help to better understand the way soldiers lived, worked and fought.

Problems

I was lucky enough to have these vietnam war photos in my archieve. However, this is all I have for now. No other photos, no other units.
